Forecasting
The Forecasting feature predicts future infrastructure costs using historical usage patterns, trends, and seasonal variations. It enables teams to plan budgets proactively, anticipate potential cost increases, and optimize resource allocation ahead of time. Forecasting helps organizations move from reactive cost monitoring to proactive cost management.

How to Use Forecasting

Navigate to the Forecasting section from the sidebar.

Click Add Forecasting and enter a forecast name.

Select the desired Cluster for which to generate the forecast.

Choose the forecast period — for example, 10 days, 2 months, or 5 weeks.

Select the specific resource type (e.g., CPU, Memory, Storage) and click Add Forecast.

Review the generated forecast chart.

Hover over forecast points to view predicted costs and confidence intervals for each time step.
How to Use Budget

Navigate to the Overview or Cluster Cost View section from the sidebar.

Select the desired Cluster for which to view the budget.

Choose the budget period — yearly, monthly or quaterly.

Select the specific year.

Review the generated budget chart.

Hover over budget points to view predicted budget.
🎯 Tip: Forecast accuracy improves as more historical data becomes available. The longer the available metric history, the more reliable the forecast results. Revisit forecasts after major infrastructure changes (e.g., new region, workload migration) for the most accurate results.
